Welcome to Cross Pollinate!
- A new event connecting Christian charities with those who have a heart for giving.
- Designed to create a market place where Christian giving can be more informed, more spontaneous and more fun!
- Promoting generosity and engaged, intelligent philanthropy.
- Inspired by The Funding Network (www.the fundingnetwork.org.uk) and created and adapted from their excellent model with their permission
In a nutshell a Cross Pollinate evening will see a handful of Christian charities present for 6 minutes each on what they could do with £5,000. This will be followed by 6 minutes for questions and answers from the audience.
There will be an opportunity for the audience and participating charity representatives to mingle and chat over refreshments.
After all the presentations there will be a pledging session where guests will be encouraged to discreetly donate funds to some or all of the causes if they want to – there will be absolutely no pressure to do so!
At the very worst a guest will have heard stories from 5 great charities that they may not have previously come across.
